Daily driving a Linux phone, but why?

• You don’t have to use Android - I’ve been using various GNU/Linux phones for the last 17 years, so being able to do gcc -o main main.cpp && ./main on a phone is just natural to me.

• Using an /e/ phone as a desktop or laptop - /e/ is simply a fork of LineageOS, so these features should work on Lineage as well. Support for USB-connected screens, docking stations etc. is going to be highly hardware dependent, but everything else should work out of the box.

• termux - is an Android terminal emulator and Linux environment app that works directly with no rooting or setup required. A minimal base system is installed automatically - additional packages are available using the APT package manager.
